Anastacia has been lying about her age
August 27th, 2008 under Music. [ Comments: 1 ]

Anastacia has finally come out! She is not 35 as she is actually 40 according to The Sun.

She said: “I’ve always lied about my age. I’m thrilled I can finally be 40.

“Every interview I did I had to rethink when I was born.”

She even kept up the fib when she fell ill with breast cancer at 35, claiming to be 31 — to give hope to other young sufferers.

So what made the 40 year old singer finally tell the truth? She said she was embarrassed to keep saying she was still in her 30's when she isn't anymore.
Now I wonder who else is fibbing about their age?

Brad Pitt told Daily Mail that Angelina Jolie and him might be recent parents to twins but that is not going to stop them from adding even more kids to their bunch very soon!

Asked by MailOnline how much more he would continue extending the family – which currently stands at six children, Pitt said: ‘I’ll have two more by next year.’
And he told George Clooney at the launch of their film Burn After Reading at the Venice Film festival today: ‘You can share mine with me.’
Family man: Brad Pitt may already have his hands full with his six children, including Maddox and Pax, but he still wants more
Asked if would be settling down soon and having children, Clooney joked: ‘I’m so surprised to be asked that question. I am getting married and having children today.’

Dang how many kids do you think they will finally have before they stop? 10, 20, 100…
BTW when it comes to George, I am availbe to be your wife and mother of your children!

Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid The Fly is now an Opera
August 27th, 2008 under Stupid Sequels/Remakes. [ Comments: 2 ]

Be afraid, be very afraid The Fly is being turned in to an Opera by the director who remade the classic in 1986 according to the Daily Star.

Rather than singing, the operatic tenor will be conducting performances. Placido admits at first he was dubious about bringing the film to the stage: “I was a little skeptical about the subject. ‘The Fly?’ I said ‘well, how is it going to be reading for an opera?’ but it just takes somebody that has the experience of composer Howard Shore to write the music, and he has done a score that goes fabulously well with the story.”

While I think it can work as an Opera, I have no intention to see it when it opens here in LA next month. There is just something that seems wrong about it.
Here is one of my all-time most memorable scenes from a movie, and thankfully The Fly: The Opera is not based on this version of the movie! I think if it were Vincent Price would be turning over in grave or haunting someone over it! That seems like his style, no?

Who will win Shear Genius tonight?
August 27th, 2008 under Bravo, Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

After some bad haircuts and many more good ones, we finally get to find out who will Shear Genius tonight on Bravo at 10p. Will it be Nicole, Charlie or Dee? I just hope it is not Charlie because he has annoyed me most of the season. Could you imagine his ego if he won? Huge and even more annoying.
And don’t forget to watch Project Runway first at 9p to see what crazy material they will be working on tonight.
