Mean ABC might have cancelled October Road, but the shows' creators are giving the show the 15 minute finale it so deserves to tie things up for the fans according to TV Guide.
The story will start at the wedding of Hannah (Laura Prepon) and Big Cat (Warren Christie), and then flash forward seven years, where fans will receive answers to most of their remaining questions. The plan is to include the epilogue on the second-season DVD and possibly online. After two seasons on the Road, even the cast wants closure. "I don't know who Sam's father is, so I am just as excited to find out as the fans are," says Bryan Greenberg (Nick). And although the shooting schedule is still up in the air, there's one thing you can count on, says Lindy Booth (Pizza Girl): "We all love the show, so we'll all be there."
I want to thank everyone who is making this happen because I loved this show and have been wanting to know who Sam's dad is. It is nice of everyone to wrap up the show properly, shame ABC didn't do that.
Don't Look Back: An Epilogue for an Epic Love will part of October Road's season 2 DVD.
Faith, Angel and Mr. Buffy aka Joss Whedon were all together at the Fox TCAs yesterday. Eliza Dushku and Joss Whendon were there to promote their mid-season show Dollhouse and David Boreanaz was there for Bones. As much as I like Joss and Eliza working together again, looking at these pictures I wish Joss had spinoff with Faith and Angel hitting the airwaves instead. How hot would a spinoff with those two and Spike be. Where is James Marsters anyways?
Eva Longoria was filming scenes on Desperate Housewives with what looked like her normal hair length and then when she left with Tony Parker she debuted her new short do. I think the new cut is cute, but I wonder when she had time to do it because we just saw on vacation with longer locks.
UPDATE: OK! found out why Eva Longoria is looking a little heavier and why she cut her hair.
“For the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives [Eva’s character] Gabrielle has “gained” weight and cut her hair,” says the actress’ rep Liza Anderson. “She is now a worn-out mother with two kids. Eva has enjoyed a more relaxed environment and will even be wearing butt pads and stomach pads.â€Â

Each of the 30th Anniversary editions of “The Stranger” is available online and in stores today.
Originally released in September 1977, Billy Joel’s fifth studio album, “The Stranger,” marked the first of Joel’s highly successful collaborations with producer Phil Ramone, whose mastery of the recording studio provided a sublime sonic context for Joel’s timeless songs and classic performances. “I was very happy that we chose Phil Ramone,” said Billy Joel in a recent interview for the 30th Anniversary edition of “The Stranger.” “He got it right away.”
The resulting collection became one of the top-selling albums of the year (peaking at #2 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart); won two Grammys (Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Just The Way You Are,” “The Stranger” was nominated for Album of the Year); overtook Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as Columbia Records Top Selling Album of the time, and generated four indelible singles — “Just The Way You Are (#1 Adult Contemporary, #3 Pop Singles); “Only The Good Die Young” (#24 Pop Singles); “She’s Always A Woman” (#2 Adult Contemporary, #17 Pop Singles); and “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)” (#17 Pop Singles) — that remain radio staples to this day.
