Who will take the title this time as “Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew,†the #1 cable show on Thursday nights (2/7/08 – 3/27/08) among P12-34, premieres Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Host Mario Lopez, backstage correspondent Layla Kayleigh and the expert team of judges – JC Chasez (N*Sync), hip hop recording artist Lil Mama and choreographer Shane Sparks (“You Got Servedâ€Â) – return to MTV to critique each heart-stopping performance on television’s only dance competition series for existing crews. Viewers will get a front row seat as the top 10 dance crews are selected during MTV’s Live Casting Special on Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. ET/tape delayed PT. Fans can catch up with the first season winners, JabbaWockeeZ, immediately afterwards in “Walk It Out with the JabbaWockeeZ and Shane Sparks.†The experience continues online where fans can submit their own dance videos for the chance to be seen weekly during each episode.

For the first time, TV Land and acclaimed modeling powerhouse Wilhelmina Models Inc. team up to search the country to find the greatest undiscovered models age 35 and older. The would-be models live together in a spacious loft in New York City and face various challenges real models would encounter such as photo shoots and tests on their fashion sense and acumen. Eliminations occur weekly until the ultimate winner is crowned. Fashion icon and supermodel Kim Alexis is the host. Celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, Wilhelmina president Sean Patterson and supermodel Beverly Johnson are judges of this six-episode series. “The 6th Annual TV Land Awards†Sunday, June 15 at 9:00 p.m.

MTV and Broadway are teaming up for Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For Elle Woods starting next Monday at 10p.
Legally Blonde: The Musical is looking for the next Elle Woods and MTV is going to help them find their next leading lady. They auditioned 1,000 girls and narrowed it down to 10.
Filmed in New York City, the search will pull back the curtain on the audition process and show you exactly what it takes to become a Broadway star. The 10 lucky finalists will live together in a NYC loft while working their butts off with some of Broadway’s biggest names, including choreographer Denis Jones, vocal coach Seth Rudetsky and some of the cast members of Legally Blonde. Plus, they’ll be mentored by singer/actress Haylie Duff, who had her own starring role in the Broadway musical, Hairspray.
It’s going to take a lot of hard work, dedication and determination to be the next blonde on Broadway, and the competing girls will be given a crash course in singing, dancing and acting. Each week, the Elle Woods wannabes will step onstage in front of a panel of judges that includes: Broadway actor Paul Canaan, casting director Bernard Telsey and Legally Blonde: The Musical writer Heather Hach. They’ll critique the girls’ performances, and each week someone’s dreams of becoming a Broadway star will come crashing down. When it’s down to the final two, Tony Award winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell will help determine who’s got what it takes to be the next Elle Woods. The last girl standing will land the starring role in the blockbuster Broadway musical!
From the looks of that trailer, it looks like their journey is not going to be an easy one and I can’t wait to see which girl will be the next Elle Woods!
