I am so excited for Villians because I want to see how evil the Heroes can be! And I am also excited for a 3 hour season premiere on September 15th on NBC! I am counting the days…128!!!
David Archuleta's long-rumored stage dad has finally banned from everything but sitting in the audience at American Idol according to TMZ.
Here's how it went down. "Idol" sources tell TMZ Jeff has been a complete pain in the ass, interfering with the entire production. He has badgered producers, the band, vocal coaches and even other contestants. The final straw came this week, when Jeff wanted to change the lyrics to David's first song, "Stand By Me." Jeff insisted on adding a verse from Sean Kingston's hit, "Beautiful Girls." Producers sent him an e-mail telling him the lyrics could not be changed. They were beyond pissed when David sang the song with Kingston's lyrics during the live show.
The day after his dad made him change the lyrics, he was brought in to the AI lawyer's office where they told him he was no longer allowed to be with his son during rehearsals or backstage. I wonder how this will affect David's performances and if this cost him the win. I mean why would the label want to deal with him now that they know his dad will make their life hecks and considering how well the last two Idols sold, is it worth it to them to have a stage dad harassing them throughout the whole process?
The battle of which former-Beverly Hills. 90210 would return to High School was won by Jennie Garth according to Michael Ausiello. But her fellow alumni shouldn't be too upset because as of now she is only a recurring character. He is also says that Kelly Taylor will be a guidance counseler at the school. Who saw that as her future career from the last show? I know I didn't, I thought she was going to find a sugar daddy and live happily ever after.
Scott Baio will be back on VH1 early next year, but this time it will not center around Renee, Bailey and him. Baio and Wonder Years Jason Hervey are doing a show with some of their other has-been, I mean former teen idol, friends from the '80s and '90s and centering their lives post their 16 magazine days.
VH1 will bring eight of the most famous male teen idols of the ‘80s and ‘90s together in a yet-to-be titled project to examine what life is like after the shine fades from their (teen idol) stars and what it will take to get their careers back on track in the fickle world of entertainment.
The series is scheduled to premiere in the winter of ‘09. These pop cultural icons will live together where they will examine their pasts as teen heartthrobs and in the process, become better equipped to move forward as the men they are today.
OMG! I am so like excited for this show and totally can't wait to see who they dig up for this show!!! This show is going to be like totally awesome!!!
