Are you resourceful enough to make a hysterical movie spoof with absolutely no budget? If you are, you could find yourself standing onstage June 1 at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles, receiving a Golden Popcorn statuette for Best Movie Spoof. Seven finalists will win a trip to attend the big show and take home a sweet little Flip Video camcorder. But only the amateur auteur whose spoof collects the most votes on mtv.com will walk away with the MTV Movie Awards Golden Popcorn trophy! Here's how you do it. Your masterpiece must be less than three minutes in length and cannot contain any copyrighted music or video that you did not create yourself. Your spoof must be submitted via one of our partner sites — Break, Buzznet, Daily Motion, Funny Or Die, Heavy, MySpace or Photobucket — by May 11, 2008, 11:59 p.m. ET. Finalists will be announced on May 19 and voting will open for the public to decide who will win!
That contest is too cool not to post! Seriously it is worth entering just for the chance to win a Flip Video Camera, I have one and I love it!
So if you enter, let me know and I will post your spoof! But just make sure to submit to MTV first!!!
Having been recently dethroned as Queen Bee in the last episode by Gossip Girl, with an assist from scheming “little J” (Taylor Momsen), Blair (Leighton Meester) hesitantly returns to school with the support of her BFF, Serena (Blake Lively).
Meanwhile, Serena struggles to adjust to her new living arrangements with her future step-brother, Chuck (Ed Westwick), while receiving disturbing packages from an unknown sender. Jenny’s drive to be popular hits an all-new time high when she does something illegal to fit in with her new Upper East Side friends. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.
I can’t wait to catch up all the gossip on tonight’s Gossip Girl on The CW at 8p! It feels like forever ago when Serena stopped Blair from getting on the plane.
