Hallmark Channel wants you to “Make Yourself at Home!”
March 1st, 2007 under Hallmark. [ Comments: none ]

Hallmark Channel for the first time since it’s launch in 2001, is revamping their image. Starting today Hallmark Channel will introduce a new on-air look and campaign with the new tagline, “Make Yourself at Home,” reinforcing the network’s reputation as a destination for quality, family-friendly programming where viewers can get comfortable and tune-in for great stories. The new on-air campaign will be seen in every daypart and will include new music, new graphics, new colors, and, of note, creative and engaging uses of the letter “H” that capture “happy,” “humorous” and touching moments of family life, at “home” – both in celebration and in everyday activities. If you click on the photo, you will see a sample spot of what Hallmark is doing! So far I am loving it and it does make me at home, what about you?

Anna Nicole Smith’s memorial will be over the top.
March 1st, 2007 under Anna Nicole Smith. [ Comments: none ]

Anna Nicole Smith will be buried in a custom-made gown next to her 20-year-old son following an "over the top" memorial service with a tightly controlled guest list, said a friend helping to organize the memorial. The memorial service, with about 300 guests at an undisclosed church, will feature large amounts of pink flowers, her favorite color, and singing from a well-known performer whose name organizers aren't ready to disclose, said the friend, Patrik Simpson of Beverly Hills, Calif. "It will be a very beautiful, Anna Nicole send-off," Simpson told The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday night in the Bahamian capital of Nassau. "Of course it will be over the top because it's Anna Nicole." Simpson's partner, Pol Atteu, has designed more than a dozen gowns for Smith, including the one in which she was to be buried in a "very elegant" casket that will most likely be closed, he said. He declined to describe the dress. Simpson said each "faction" — Stern, Arthur and Birkhead — had to submit a guest list in advance and each would be limited to 100 people at the church service. "It will be something very beautiful, very private, very over the top and very pink," he said. The burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleums will be much more intimate, with about 30 people, he said.

That is how she should go out. And nice to see Howard K Stern is letting Larry Birkhead and her mom each have an equal amount of people at the funeral. But part of me wonders what he is up to? With all that he has put them through, it just seems so weird that now he is willing to compromise now… you know like the saying nothing good in life is free?

The HIV+ Osbourne mystery solved
March 1st, 2007 under The Osbournes. [ Comments: 1 ]

A few weeks ago Kelly Osbourne broke down and cried at a AIDS charity event and announced that someone in her family had HIV. Well not announcing who it was, led to speculation that it was Jack or Ozzy. Blabbermouth reports that the Osbourne clan member who is HIV+ is her cousin Terry Longden, who was on the UK reality show The Salon. He was with Kelly at the event, "I told her to say whatever she wanted because it might help someone in a similar situation, but I didn't expect her to cry. I felt quite guilty. She gave me a big hug when she came off." He then added, "They were amazing. I couldn't have a better family." He is very lucky to have a family like that and hopefully his story will help others
