It may be cold outside, but The N cranks up the heat this winter with new episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation and the season two premiere of Beyond the Break at 8:00 p.m. (ET) and 8:30 p.m. (ET), respectively. Explosive new episodes of Degrassi kick off the New Year when the hit teen series bids an emotional farewell to a popular character. Beyond the Break returns with the one-hour premiere kicking off 10 new original episodes. “The N kicks off 2007 with exciting new episodes and juicy storylines that our fans won’t want to miss,” said Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Senior Vice President and General Manager, The N. “Prepare for the unexpected because anything goes on Degrassi and the new season of Beyond The Break.” New episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation will include a guest appearance by famed rock band Taking Back Sunday, who play themselves in an upcoming episode premiering Friday, January 12. Bad boy Craig joins the band for a one night only gig but for this recent high school grad who has taken to “partying like a rock star,” he’ll find that his new drug habit may soon get in the way of his dream career and dream girl. Finally, Degrassi fans are in for the shock of their lives on Friday, January 26 as they prepare to say good bye to one of their most beloved characters when tragedy ensues on campus. Beyond the Break returns with David Chokachi as Justin Healey as he guides the all female surf team who battle the Hawaiian waves in the hopes of finally going pro. But for these four ladies – it’s their personal lives that need guidance. Birdie will contemplate walking down the aisle with Marcus even though that means leaving the beach and surf behind, Kai continues to spiral out of control as her drug habit takes hold and for the first time the team will break apart and compete against each other for an elite spot at the Fiji Open. But when one member is overlooked, she will walk away from WaveSync forever to join a competing surf league.

Pete Doherty came back to London alone?
January 6th, 2007 under Pete Doherty/Kate Moss. [ Comments: none ]

KATE Moss sent junkie lover Pete Doherty home from their Thai holiday yesterday after cops quizzed him over a bust-up with a cabbie. She made him leave their Phuket villa and fly home alone a day early. The junkie singer, 27, arrived at Heathrow at 6am yesterday and told an autograph hunter: “She’s sent me home because I got arrested.” The airport worker also claimed Doherty told him he DID wed Kate, 32 in Thailand. Doherty told The Sun later: “Kate won’t talk to me. She doesn’t believe me anymore.” He insisted he wasn’t trying to buy drugs during the bust- up after a full moon party. He added: “The guy attacked me for no reason.” Thai authorities had no record of his arrest.

The Sun: Bizarre

I just don’t know what to believe anymore with these two?

CBB’s Donny Tourette leaves the Big Brother building
January 6th, 2007 under Reality International. [ Comments: 1 ]

Life as a servant just wasn’t rock and roll enough for Donny. The wild man decided to scale the wall and leave the Celebrity Big Brother House. Donny will not be returning to the House. At 11.28pm, the punk rocker discreetly snuck into the Servants’ garden for a nose around, followed by a curious Ian. Having sized up his options, the wild man decided to make a bid for freedom rather than explore a humble new life as a Goody lackey. So with a helping hand from his buddy Ian, Donny scaled the fence asking Ian to pass on his goodbyes to the rest of the group before dropping over the other side and out of sight. A stunned Ian was soon joined by his fellow Servants as they filtered outside into the garden. The former Steps star adopted a squeaky voice excitedly describing the wild man’s spontaneous break for freedom: "Donny’s just legged it over the fence! He said he’s not waiting on Jade! He’s gone!" "It’s a wind up" said Jo, as Danielle agreed, adding that he’s "hiding somewhere". Ian tried to fend off Leo’s accusations about giving the escapee a helping hand by maintaining that he thought Donny was only going to have a look around. But shortly before midnight, the servants had his permanent departure confirmed. Cleo was given an official statement from Big Brother to read out. The rock and roll star had left the building.. he’s not up for servitude… Was Donny right would his rock credability have remained intact after waiting on the Goody family, it starting to go pear shaped with the arrival of the Goody clan.

Female First

That is kind of cool that he did that! I don’t know who he is, but I am sure I will be buying his album soon!
