Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Paul McCartney will give his estranged wife Heather Mills a $235 million divorce package to safeguard his health, according to a British newspaper. The News of the World reports the former Beatle was urged to agree the deal by his daughters Stella and Mary because they are concerned the bitter divorce battle is affecting his well-being. The siblings reportedly told their father, "If this goes on, it could kill you. Being happy is more important than money." The newspaper claims McCartney will publicly give his estranged wife a mere $19.5 million, most of which she’ll donate to charity. But she’ll actually secure an enormous secret package including $5.9 million a year as a divorce settlement, $15.7 million to buy homes in America and Europe, $5.9 million for English accommodation and more than $3.9 million a year for staff and general expenses for the next 15 years. One of McCartney’s aides tells the newspaper, "It’s a done deal and Paul is relieved."

HEY, all you Chinese-speakers out there in TV land – Rosie O’Donnell thinks you should get a sense of humor! The Asian-American Journalists Association was fuming after O’Donnell went on "The View" Thursday and said that Danny DeVito’s drunk turn on the show days earlier was "international news! In China it was like, ‘Ching chong, ching-ching-chong, Danny DeVito!’ " In a statement yesterday, the AAJA said, "We consider this a mockery of the Chinese language and, in effect, a perpetration of stereotypes of Asian-Americans as foreigners or second-class citizens. The use of the distorted phrases is insulting to the Chinese and Chinese-Americans, and gives the impression that they are a group that is substandard to English-speaking people." But a rep for O’Donnell said, "She’s a comedian in addition to being a talk show co-host. I certainly hope that one day they will be able to grasp her humor."

Two Tracy Turnblads recently met on the set of Hairspray, New Line Cinema’s upcoming film version of the Broadway smash. Nikki Blonsky, who plays the spirited heroine of the movie musical, delightedly posed with Ricki Lake, who played Tracy in John Waters’ original 1988 film. Hairspray will open in theaters on July 20th, 2007. In addition to Blonsky, the film will star John Travolta as Edna Turnblad, Allison Janney as Prudy Pingleton, Christopher Walken as Wilbur Turnblad, Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle, Brittany Snow as Amber Von Tussle, Zac Efron as Link Larkin, Elijah Kelley as Seaweed, James Marsden as Corny Collins.

Elvis Costello and wife Diana Krall are the parents of twin boys. The new arrivals — named Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James — were born on Wednesday, according to a statement from the couple. "We are ecstatic!" the statement continued, going on to add that "mother and sons are doing splendidly." The births came on the couple’s third wedding anniversary. The statement provided no other details on the twins. Costello, 52, is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer known for songs like "Veronica," "Pump It Up" and "Alison." He most recently collaborated with Allen Toussaint on the album "The River in Reverse." The 42-year-old Krall, a jazz singer, released her latest album, "From This Moment On," in September. The couple live in New York. This is Costello’s third marriage, and Krall’s first.
