Jeremy London gets married
September 3rd, 2006 under Weddings. [ Comments: none ]

. Camden would approve: 7th Heaven actors Jeremy London and Melissa Cunningham were joined in holy matrimony Saturday in California. (London played young minister Chandler Hampton from 2002-2004 on the long-running WB show, while Cunningham appeared in a 2003 episode.) At the 5:30 p.m. ceremony at the Hidden Chateau and Garden in West Hills, the bride walked down the aisle in a dress she’d designed herself. The groom wore Hugo Boss. The 150 guests included Cunningham’s friend Carmen Electra, just back from the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City; London’s identical twin brother, actor Jason (who starred in 1993’s Dazed and Confused); Scott Wolf, who played brother-in-law to London’s working-class Griffin Holbrook on Party of Five; and actors Kevin Connolly, Matt Lindquist and Jeremy Sisto. London and Cunningham met in 2000 when she auditioned for a film he was producing, the Tommy Chong comedy Secret Agent 420 (she got the part). London proposed on December 23, 2005, with a three-carat center-cut diamond ring. At a post-Emmys party on Aug. 27, London, 33, told PEOPLE how important it was that everything be perfect on the big day. "Talk about busy," he said. "I had no idea. That’s the hardest part … all the logistics and worrying about things going wrong or right." What’s next for the newlyweds? "I’m definitely going to expand our family as much as possible," London told PEOPLE, "as soon as possible."

Dave Navarro’s amazing lesson about the holocaust
September 3rd, 2006 under Rock Star: Supernova. [ Comments: none ]

What’s up everybody? Only two weeks of Rockstar: Supernova left, then it’s back to business as usual. More The Panic Channel shows, Spread Radio Live shows, maybe a week off up north. Total recovery time. I am looking forward to the break but I will miss seeing everybody I work with twice a week for sure. Let me get one thing straight here. I do not HATE anybody. A lot of talk about "Dave hates Magni". That is absurd. I honestly do not know the man. I think he is an awesome singer and performer, as I do all of the remaining contestants. In fact, to quote my last post, I wrote, "Either way it rolls, I can almost see a version of Supernova with any of them. At this point the talent pool is so deep, that they (Supernova) kind of can’t lose." I have rarely said anything negative to him about his performances. I just happen to have my personal favorites, just like everybody else. Today I have another performance taping down at CBS to attend. I think there will be some surprises with song choices. We are at that stage where we can have two songs from each performer. Big show ahead! The Vegas trip was just insane. Great party at Pure followed by a lot of late rolling around from here to there. I didn’t sleep at all while I was there so I grabbed myself about 12 hours last night. Even thought I do not drink or do drugs, I feel totally hung over somehow. Vegas will do that to you! Actually, the best part of my trip, the most enlightening part, was the flight home. I was seated next to an elderly woman who asked me about my tattoos. She then said, "I have one, but not by choice." She proceeded to show me a number tattooed on her left forearm. It turned out she is a Holocaust survivor. She had been in Auschwitz when she was a little girl. We spent the flight talking about her experiences and it was profoundly life changing for me. I am well studied in the history of the Holocaust and W.W.II, as I have read quite a bit of literature and watched a lot of documentaries on the subjects, however, all of the information out there never even scratches the surface. An amazing lesson in humility, gratitude, patience, perspective, love and tolerance. I had never met a survivor before that.If you haven’t done so already, visit The Museum of Tolerance.

I just thought this was a great post to follow a man who does not even believe the holocaust ever happened. I am sincerely going to miss Dave Navarro’s post when Rock Star Supernova is over.

Mel Gibson does a Tom Cruise and says sorry to arresting officers?
September 3rd, 2006 under Mel Gibson. [ Comments: none ]

Disgraced Hollywood star MEL GIBSON has finally said sorry to the three police officers he insulted when arrested for drink-driving two months ago. The PASSION OF THE CHRIST actor sent a female officer a $500 bouquet with a note expressing "sincere apologies" and has invited her and her male colleague, JAMES MEE, to the premiere of his new movie APOCALYPTO. Gibson launched a blistering volley of abuse against the woman when escorted to his cell, calling her "sugartits", and subjected Mee, who is Jewish, to an anti-Semitic tirade when pulled over in his vehicle. A colleague of the unnamed female officer says, "Mel has sent her the biggest bunch of flowers she’s ever seen with a note. She was quite touched and I’m sure that the two arresting officers will take him up on his invitation."

Contact Music

I guess he saw all the positive press Tom Cruise got for apologizing to Brooke Sheilds, he figured he would try it too. Plus it is the only was he can people to see Apocalypto. That movie looks so boring, I can not imagine anyone who is not obsessive about the Mayans actually wanting to go see it. That is if Disney still decides to release it.

Pamela Rock launching a makeup line
September 3rd, 2006 under Pamela Anderson. [ Comments: none ]

The most liberating thing I’ve done lately is learn to do my own makeup. I never wore makeup in Canada and when I moved to LA Playboy did my makeup and hair so I never really learned to do it myself. I am not a slave to the industry anymore. Ha!
I just did my own makeup at a shoot – I brought my Barbie box of eyelashes, glue, black eyeliner eye shadows, pink lip gloss, very little foundation and went to town. We were all a little nervous at first. But it turned out fine. Liberation! No more 9 g’s a day for makeup bills! I learned a lot from pro makeup artists. But what I really learned is you know yourself best. No stress. 15 minute makeups are the best.
It’s inspired me to do my own line. Bed Head and I have joined forces and we’re putting out hair care and body care and an easy makeup line ASAP. I’ll be selling only on the Internet through my site….but I like that no matter your age you can learn and take the time for yourself. My mom taught me how to color my hair and now I’m listening (which I have always done myself) Take 10 minutes for yourself each morning. Before kids and husbands…and comb your hair/wash your face, put a little mascara on, and then run around making breakfast. If you feel good then everyone else will too. I have a lot of easy things for hair too coming out. Mostly inspired by my mom, I do things like leg lifts while brushing my teeth. After being a gymnast when I was young and working in a gym and lifting weights till out of high school I really haven’t exercised except for walking. People ask me all the time what I do. I’m going to have it all soon on my site – probably 10 minute workouts following a stick figure with boobs. I’m going to use it for myself every morning too.

Pamela Anderson’s Diary

I actually might try some of the hair care products.

Lisa Edelstein talks about House
September 3rd, 2006 under Lisa Edelstein/Hugh Laurie/House. [ Comments: none ]

Returning for its third season, House stars Hugh Laurie as Gregory House, an antisocial but gifted surgeon who specializes in solving baffling medical mysteries.Among his foils: hospital administrator Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein), who clashes with House over his medical duties even as she acknowledges his results.Edelstein recently talked about her role.

Q: In what ways has your character changed since the show began?
A: She’s a more-complete human being than when we started. Cuddy has been at her job long enough that now she’s trying to look at the rest of her life, trying to have a child, and it will change her even more.
Q: How would you describe the relationship between Cuddy and House?
A: They are naturally at odds with each other, but I don’t think he drives her crazy any more than she expects or wants to be driven. He is a pain in the (rear) to deal with, but he is usually right, and that doesn’t go past her.I don’t know where their relationship is going. I love the chemistry between them, but I think it would be more interesting if it didn’t work out. I don’t have a vision for how they would knock down those walls that exist between them and the outside world. They have very different tasks. His is to solve all the cases, and hers is to see that he solves all the cases without bringing the hospital down.
Q: Do you get caught up in the hospital’s life-or-death situations?
A: Well, we’re not doing Marcus Welby. It’s not about the good doctor who’s so warm and so caring. This guy, House, knows what he’s doing. He cares deeply and is committed to what he’s doing, but does he care because there’s a human being he’s helping or because it’s a puzzle? I think House would say it’s about the puzzle, but I’m not sure that is the truth.
Q: What’s the most fun for you about playing Cuddy?
A: Working with Hugh Laurie, who’s an incredible actor. And I like being on a show that is smart and funny and that I am not embarrassed at being on. It’s fun to have the same job for a few years, to develop a character.

The Columbus Dispatch

I can not for Tuesday night, both House and Nip/Tuck are back!
