Depp going back to school on 21 Jump Street? |

"21 Jump Street" creator Stephen Cannell is hoping to lure Johnny Depp back to a screen version of the TV show. Depp winced when he first heard the idea, but he told journalist Jesse Nash that despite past bitterness with Cannell, he could get into it if he played his character as an aging, washed-up hustler. "Now that would be interesting," said Depp. "To go back and play the same character that I played 20 years ago with a bunch of people talking behind his back, going, ‘He’s out of his mind. He’s really old now. But he thinks that he’s really young.’ That I would love to do." But there’s still a chilly air between the actor and Cannell. When Nash told Depp that his former boss spoke highly of him, Depp responded icily: "He didn’t then."
Rush & Molly
This will be hot if it happens, but I doubt it will. You will hear that standard Hollywood line he really wanted to do it, but he had a scheduling conflict.
I saw a movie late one night shortly before 21 Jump Street premiered and I thought the lead actor was so hot! So I started writing his name in my school books, "I love Johnny Deep!" It was not until I saw the 21 Jump Street pilot that I found out his name was Johnny Depp and not Deep! Why teenage girls should not watch Skinemax!

Jared Leto played a show with his band 30 Seconds to Mars in Washington, DC last night. During their set, Jared decides to go into the audience. The audience supports him at first and he surfs over them and as he makes his way back to the stage, he falls right on his face! Hahahah…it’s pretty funny! What a tool.

BRITNEY SPEARS often-maligned husband KEVIN FEDERLINE’s debut single POPOZAO was a joke, according to the dancer/rapper. Federline claims he released the track to capitalise on the fact people were laughing at him – but he got the last laugh as the curious flocked to his website to hear the tune. He says, "At first, when I put out PopoZao, people were kinda laughing at me. I did it on purpose so people would look at me exactly the way they did. "That way, when I come out with my real s**t, people are f**king blown away."

LATEST: The ROLLING STONES will be back in the rehearsal studios later this week (ends07JUL06) after postponing dates dues to health setbacks for bandmates RONNIE WOOD and KEITH RICHARDS. The A Bigger Bang tour was halted in May (06) to allow Wood to enter rehab for an ongoing drinking problem and Richards to recover after falling out of a tree during a brief vacation in Fiji. The rock supergroup will relaunch what could be the top grossing tour of all time when the show continues in Milan, Italy, next week (11JUL06). According to Billboard.com, the band has already grossed an estimated $250 million (GBP138.9 million) from the tour and has 21 more stadium dates in Europe to play until the beginning of September (06). Another 10 dates that were postponed due to Richards’ injury are likely to be rescheduled after the tour’s official climax in Denmark.
