Not only did the Seattle Seahawks clobber the Denver Broncos, they clobbered in the ratings too. Yesterday’s Super Bowl was watched by 111.5 million people, making it the most watched television program ever according to
Deadline.
So even though the teams were not as big as some of the others, the halftime show was with a virtual unknown to most of the viewers and the Broncos only scored one touchdown, people still tuned in to watch and stayed. I don’t know why this surprises me because
I actually predicted this on Twitter yesterday, but I did it as a joke. Now we find out it is the truth.
So I guess the best way to get people to watch, is not to have all the glitz and glam you normally have for football’s biggest night.
