Poor Taylor Swift should enjoy all the awards she is winning, but no matter what she wins someone has to rain on her parade. When she was at the VMAs, Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech…as we all know.
Well yesterday she won the Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs and Wynonna Judd tells USA Today that she wasn’t ready for such a honor.
“You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon,” said the singer, who accompanied mom Naomi. “Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon. My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time … ‘cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us. Now it’s over coffee breaks, the success, almost. You have to play catch up … It’s like the girl who wins an Oscar and she’s under 20. What do you do from here?â€
Ouch, what did poor Taylor do to deserve such a hard sentiment about her win from Wynonna Judd. I am thinking that Wynonna is just jealous because she didn’t get nominated until she was 22 and she didn’t win it then, but Taylor is only 19 and she did. Taylor is one of the few country artists that I can listen to, so who cares if she is only 19, she deserved it!!! You go girl!!!
It still has to be tough on Taylor Swift to be the point of contention. Even if, as you suggest, Wynonna Judd is berating the selection committee, it still sounds a bit anti-Taylor.
Regardless on how these two women who are so amazing at this point have to say something that’s totally negative it’s beyond not true . Obviously, Taylor Swift is now getting more popular then ever before because of her age and Wynonna is considered a icon diva in country music whom now celebrating 25 years with her mom Naomi, come on now people. I think wheither or not Taylor Swift can’t sing or dance or whatever doesn’t mean she can actually earned every award from every shows but now she has someone like Wynonna Judd to look up to as an inspiration to become the woman who she is with high spirits of singing that’s all . I think we as fans users who often saying a lot of negative remarks need to give them the right amount of ” RESPECT ” to say something nice or leave them at peace for once . Thank You .
