Ever since Hostess
announced that they were going out of business people have been hoarding boxes of Twinkies. But some people have been buying the boxes and selling them on
eBay. Most people are selling them for close to normal prices, but then there are some who are selling them for millions of dollars. Granted most of the ones who are asking for 7 digits say they will donate the money to charity, but still that is a lot of dough for a box of pastries that really isn’t that good. I could understand it a little bit more if it were Ring Dings, but I always thought that Twinkies were overrated.
BTW I wonder if the prices will drop now that it looks like the Bakers Union and Hostess are willing to work out a deal to get the company operational again.
