December 29th, 2020 under Oscars

The Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences announced that this year’s Oscars will be an in-person event whether to coronavirus pandemic is over or not.

How are they going to do it safely? That is what they are considering now. According to Daily Mail, one of their options is that everyone who attends will have to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

There are many problems with that. I am sure several of the people will not be willing to get it because they are antivaccine. The other problem is, will the vaccine be ready to give to everyone to get their first dose by March 24th? I will go ballistic if they jump the line to get the shot while my loved ones and I will have to wait longer to receive it. I am sure I would not be the only one.

It would be another reason for people to hate Hollywood.

Plus, what is really the point of having them this year when almost all of the movie theaters will have been closed for 13 months on April 25th?

Would you mind if the Oscars took a year off? And how would you feel if Oscar attendees skipped the line to get the vaccine just to attend Hollywood’s biggest night?
