CBS is holding Ghosts until the midseason (and I am not happy about it). However, they are still airing a Halloween special.
The two-part episode is described as: “A couple of months after Pete’s disappearance, while Sam is in Australia on the set of her new film, Polar Opposites, Kyle (new series regular Ben Feldman) steps up to help baby-sit the ghosts. Also, Hetty is unexpectedly reunited with her estranged sister, Margaret (guest star Maria Thayer), and Bela throws an unconventional Halloween bash at Woodstone.”
As you can see, Sam and Pete will not appear in the episode. Rose McIver is missing because she recently revealed that she welcomed baby #2, so she is on maternity leave. Richie Moriarty is missing because his character disappeared in the season finale, as Jay and Kyle were trying their hardest to get him home before it happened. But his head, his last remaining visual body part, disappeared in the final seconds of the episode.
While they will be missing, Sheila Carrasco as Flower, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta, Asher Grodman as Trevor, Devan Chandler Long as Thorfinn, Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, Brandon Scott Jones as Isaac, and Roman Zaragoza as Sasappis will be there to spook us. However, they are not that spooky.
Halloween: The Mirror Part 1 and Part 2 airs on October 29th.
