Tonight, I am at a loss for words because words were used to murder someone.
I did not agree with anything that Charlie Kirk said. I believe he spewed hate and division. However, I do not believe he deserved to die because of it.
There is too much hate in this world, and this is what comes of that.
So tomorrow, let’s wake up and be better. Use our words for love and not hate.
If we did that, the world would be a better place. Let’s try. What can it hurt? Maybe we can heal. And we need healing; we have needed it for a long time. So let the healing begin.

I am going to take a “wait and see” approach to a healing. It’s always a pacifist, or a liberal, or an idealist or a Democrat who says “…we have to be better with our words.” We had a Presidential ticket in the last election who embodied joy and happiness; peace. Love. Light. Yet there is this large minority of people who just do not what that, and they just promote the most toxic world around them, and will look at our need for unity as weakness.
So before I lower my shields, I want to see the people like the diehard Trump lovers make that first attempt.
