Trevor Noah will not be hosting tonight’s The Daily Show because he had an emergency appendectomy this morning. Comedy Central will air a repeat tonight instead.
Even though he had the surgery just hours ago, the network says he is expected to be back at the anchor’s desk tomorrow night at 11p. Dang, that seems fast. Although, I remember when Jimmy Kimmel missed a show for the same reason a few years ago, he was at The Police concert just days afterwards. I guess you heal quicker after that surgery than a nose job, which seems odd.
