Tonight at 10p on USA, it is time for the 2nd to last episode of Royal Pains. To make the pain of the show ending next week a little easier, tonight’s ep is a musical one! Therefore, it will have you singing and dancing because it is so wonderful.
It is finally time for Eddie (Henry Winkler) and Ms. Newberg’s (Christine Ebersole) wedding. She has invited her friend Annette (Cloris Leachman), who is legendary actress, to attend her fifth nuptials. Annette hasn’t being feeling well and Hank (Mark Feuerstein) is going to trying to figure what is wrong with her. As he works his medical magic on her, Hank, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), Paige (Brooke D’Orsay), Divya (Reshma Shetty), Ms. Newberg, Eddie and Jeremiah (Ben Shenkman) will be singing and dancing all around The Hamptons. For one number, Hank will be serenaded by several of his past patients, reminding him of the great job he has done on them througout the years.
Finally, it is time for the wedding with a beautiful toast followed by a spectacular performance. When it is all done, we will find out why this musical episode came about.
I am a sucker for musical episodes, and this one is my favorite so far because the story and the music are so phenomenal. Not only can these actors act, they can also sing. The show starts off with a lullaby by Divya that is so gorgeous, and it just keeps getting better from there.
Tonight, don’t only watch this episode live, make sure to record it too. You are going to want to watch it again and again. I know I have already watched it twice and I just got the screener this morning. Off for a third time is the charm viewing because it is just that charming.
