Tomorrow night at 9p on E!, the cast of A Different World will reunite and share never before heard stories from their time on the sitcom.
Sinbad and Kadeem Hardison are joined by Darryl M. Bell, Jasmine Guy, Dawnn Lewis, and Cree Summer to talk about the impact of the series that highlighted Spellman College. We find out how hard the producers worked to make the show relevant and authentic to college life and the school. Along with the cast, we will be hearing from the show’s director and executive producer Debbie Allen and executive producer Susan Fales-Hill.
Another thing that we will hear about tomorrow is how Sinbad got cast on the sitcom. However, he almost blew his chance by telling a little lie. Thankfully, he didn’t. This was the last thing he shot before he suffered a massive stroke late last year.
Their get together is part of the four-part series event Reunion Road Trip. On next week’s series finale, the cast of Scrubs checks in on what they are doing now.
