The couple announced today that their two-year Romeo and Juliet story is having a happy ending. That is because he got down on one knee to propose, and she said, “Yes!”
Or as the singer put it, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ”
This will be the first marriage for both of them.
We know her next album will be all about getting married…that is, unless she becomes a runaway bride.

True story time. So my niece is a Swiftie, and she is back in school. As soon as Taylor posted the happy news, I had to text her so that she would know as soon as she could turn on her phone. But she already knew because her English teacher stopped class to tell them about the engagement. I guess you can say English teachers are uniting in solidarity with the lyricist.
What are you doing to celebrate their news? I am going to buy some Krispy Kreme Harry Potter donuts and sparkling cider, then go over and toast the news with my niece. And while she is all happy, her younger sister and I will be making TrayTray jokes because we are not nice to her.
Oh, and Swift’s new album is coming out on my younger niece’s birthday because, like me, Taylor likes her more than the other one.
