The cancelled live-action movie Tangled is alive again, and the musical has found its leads. Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, and Milo Manheim is the man who steals her heart, but not her hair, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Since I have been a fan of Manheim’s since Z-O-M-B-I-E-S, I think his casting of Flynn Rider is perfect!
The actor would be enough for me to break the “I won’t see live-action versions of animated movies” rule. But he is not the only reason.
Michael Gracey, who directed Better Man and The Greatest Showman, has signed on to do the film.
So I am in, even though I am not a fan of the movie. Not because it is bad. But because my nieces made me watch it over and over and over again.
On that note, how amazing would it be if they got Mandy Moore to play Gothel? Kind of like how Patty Duke went from playing Helen Keller to Annie Sullivan?
