I do not know about you, but I really do not understand how health care works. But thanks to tonight’s Superstore at 8p on NBC, I now have a better understanding of it.
During an office meeting, Mateo (Nico Santos) is moaning in pain and he tells his coworkers that he has an ear infection. That is when they all give him wild home remedies to try out. When someone asks him why doesn’t he just go to a doctor, they tell her that they have crappy health insurance and they cannot afford to go.
That is when Jonah (Ben Feldman) and Amy (America Ferrera) come up with an internal health plan so that everyone can go to the doctor and finally get looked at. Only problem is, people like Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi) have so many health issues that now they need to figure how to accommodate those with pre existing conditions and those without. By the end of the episode, you will think that every member of Congress, Senate and the President will need to watch to episode because it is health care made for Dummies!
That and they might enjoy when Glen (Mark McKinney) asks Dina (Lauren Ash) to look at a mole one his body to see if it looks cancerous. Sounds simple, but the mole is in a hard location. If you get what I mean.
After months of being pissed off about health care, it is nice to finally be able to laugh about it.

Then at 8:30p, The Good Place is turning into an interesting place because of Derek (Jason Mantzoukas). If you remember last week, Janet (D’Arcy Carden) created Derek to get over Jason (Manny Jacinto). She is not still not over being married to him several hundred reboots ago and he does not even remember ever being married to her because Michael (Ted Danson) has wiped his memory clean a few hundred of times.
Jason has moved on with his soul mate Tahani (Jameela Jamil), so much so they want to get married. What will Michael do? Janet’s little experiment is causing problems, and they are problems he cannot afford. How will he help out his friend, so that she can happy and doesn’t destroy his Good Place with glitches?
All of that leads to an oh fork moment at the end you do not want to miss on this brilliant show you should be watching. It is so much fun and who does not need fun on a Thursday night?

Then at 9p, it is time for Will & Grace. Will (Eric McCormack) & Grace (Debra Messing) & Jack (Sean Hayes) & Karen (Megan Mullally) get some news that will change all of them forever. But since they are such great friends, they are always there for each other when they really need them. Since NBC did not spoil what it is this time like they did for the Grandpa Jack episode, I won’t either. All I will tell you is that Jack does a dance number that will be tomorrow’s GIF.
Also when NBC says it is a must see event, they mean it. It is one that no fan of the show will want to miss. Thus, don’t miss it! I am so happy that NBC got this revival right. It could have gone so wrong but it has remained true to the original run.
