June 8th, 2013 under Syfy

At 9p Sinbad sets sail on Syfy and you will want to board this show that is full of adventure. Sinbad (Elliot Knight) and his brother come up with a way to make money by fighting with people in front of an audience. One fight will be his downfall when he accidentally kills Lord Akbari’s (Naveen Andrews) son. Lord Akarbi has him arrested and then gets revenge on Sinbad by killing his brother. Sinbad escapes and goes home, but his grandmother (Janet Suzman) rejects him. In fact she curses him to live his days only on water until he atones for his mistake. If he spends a whole day on land, he will die. Taking her punishment seriously, he stows away on a boat. His travels will not go smoothly when they run into a storm. Most of the people on board the ship are killed and the few survivors will now have an adventure on the seven seas. They are the imposing northman Gunnar (Elliot Cowan), thief and fellow stowaway Rina (Marama Corlett), wealthy African beauty Nala (Estella Daniels), ship’s doctor Anwar (Dimitri Leonidas), and the Cook (Junix Inocian).
I have to admit I never knew much about Sinbad’s story until this series, and now I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
Then at 10p the dinosaurs are coming, the dinosaurs are coming in Primeval: New World. A portal in time is letting dinosaurs enter our time and they are doing what they do best…killing people. Evan (Niall Matter) lost his wife to these creatures six years ago and he has been trying to stop them ever since, but has not gotten close to them until now. He along with his team will try to stop them before they kill again. All the while keeping it secret because who would believe that there are dinosaurs in our world?
Primeval: New World is a sci-fi show like any other out there and because of that you will love watching this show. This is the perfect show for everyone who loved dinosaurs as a kid and wondered what it would be like if they were living today.
