Yesterday was a big day for LA Dodger’s Shohei Ohtani, and what a day it was.

We are on the tail end of the dog days of summer. But it wasn’t too late for Ohtani to celebrate his best friend, Decoy.

The pitcher and his dog were honored with a bobblehead at the game, and the fans lined up early to get one.

Then, when they got inside, they witnessed a Major League first. Ohanti’s dog, wearing a baseball jersey with his dad’s number 17 on it, threw the first pitch! Creating an arfdorable moment that delighted everyone in the crowd,

The night was only getting started. As it went on, Ohtani scored his 42nd homerun and his 41st and 42nd stolen bases for the year. That is why he is the $70 million man.
