Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Today is a sad day in the soap opera world as the longest running television show Guiding Light signs off forever with episode 15,762. Guiding Light premiered on the radio in January 1937 before switching over to TV June 30, 1952 and today after broadcasting for 72 years it says goodbye. It is truly sad when any soap opera end its long run, but this one is the saddest because it is the longest.
Thanks to Guiding Light for leading the way for all the remaining soap operas left on TV.
