Salma Hayek has persuaded best pal Penelope Cruz to guest on an upcoming episode of her Golden Globe-winning TV comedy Ugly Betty. Hayek, who appears on the show as a vampish magazine writer, has been trying to find Cruz the right role since the show started last year. The actress, who is also a producer of the series, says, "We’re going to do something with her, but maybe later."

I am sorry but the show went from Golden Globe winner to schockly in one day. I mean concetrate on the storylines and not casting people like Katharine McPhee, Tim Gunn, Kathy Griffin and Penelope Cruz…I mean that was downfall for Will and Grace and countless other shows. That is a tactic failing shows use.
