Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room yesterday and police do not suspect foul play according to
CTV. The 31 year old actor completed rehab in the spring for an undisclosed reason and seemed to be doing better.
Cory Monteith sang and danced his way to fame and into our hearts on a little show called Glee. Something he told me before it started its fall run back in 2009, was not something he did before the show. Had he not told me that, I never would’ve known because he was so good on the show.
When it comes to how Glee will deal with his death, it is way too early to talk about. It is something that will be very hard for the close knit cast and crew, especially his girlfriend co-star Lea Michele, to deal with.
So today let’s honor him and watch an episode of Glee and/or listen to a few of the songs from the show.
His death really saddens not only because he was so young, but after I interviewed him I saw all the potential he had. It is sad he will never get to experience all he could’ve been.
