Emily Thorne might not have gotten Revenge on Ashley Davenport for stealing her fiance’, but the show is because Ashley Madekwe‘s contract was not picked up for a third season according to Deadline. The actress confirmed the news on Twitter and said she might be back for part of the season. She Tweeted, “The Revenge writers are trying to come up with an exit story for Davenport and I will of course play that out for you all…” Then she added, “My preference is that Ashley Davenport dies in a blaze of glory. Preferable whilst wearing Valentino couture….Or Chanel. I’m not fussy.” I say whichever dress costs more is how she should go out and she should get to keep it too.
Deadline is reporting that isn’t the only ABC show handing out pink slips. School’s out for Tessa’s Principal Rex Lee and George is going to have to find a new best friend since Alan Tudyk has been evicted from Suburgatory.
As much as I love Madekwe from Secret Diary of a Call Girl, the ABC nighttime soap never used her properly. I wish they would’ve let her know earlier, so she could’ve taken part in pilot season. She would’ve been a better choice to co-star in Back in the Game than the woman they hired.
Now when it comes to Suburgatory, I am done with the show after these firings. Alan Tudyk made the show and without him there is no reason to watch. Maybe ABC will think about their bad choice and find another role for him on the network, like make maybe Castle? There has to be something else for him.
