So yesterday Jimmy Kimmel flew to his hometown of Las Vegas and appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. After the show Regis hid in the wheel barrel of Jimmy Kimmel’s plane, followed him back to the JKL! studio, went into Jimmy’s dressing room tied him to a chair then gagged him and took over his show and did the opening monologue. Kimmel has filled in for Regis on his show several time, why shouldn’t Regis do the same?
I have to admit he actually did a great job as a late night host, he kind of reminded me of when Johnny Carson did his opening monologues! There were a lot of yucks in that 5 minute shpeel to open Jimmy Kimmel Live! I especially loved Guillermo and him together. Seriously didn’t you go awww every time Guillermo rested his head on Regis’ chest even though he kept saying his name wrong. What you missed is after Guillermo removed the tape from Kimmel’s mouth he called him out on that.
Maybe Regis should quit that morning show and host a late night show. Afterall it would be promotion to move from the morning to the evening? Too bad ABC is doing well in the ratings cause they could give him the 10p hour like that other did when all else failed…
BTW check out Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight on ABC at 12:06a because Leona Lewis is going to perform 2 songs on the show and maybe Regis Philbin will be back to host.
