As we know, David Cornswet is playing Superman in James Gunn’s take of the superhero. But he is not the only actor who auditioned for the role. Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor, also tried out for the part, but didn’t get it.

Now, we know why. He can’t even open a water bottle on his own. He needed some help from Kent, Clark Kent. And that is why Hoult is the villain and not the Man of Steel.
