In 1998, we fell in love with the Owens sisters, and since then, we have wanted a sequel to Practical Magic. But we never seemed to get one.
Then last year, it was announced that we were getting a second movie and that Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman were going to reprise their roles.
As with many announcements, I took it with a grain of salt. Just because something is announced does not mean it is going to happen.
Therefore, I wait until production starts before I believe it is really happening. And today, Kidman shared a video of her hugging Bullock on the set of the film. Therefore, it is really happening.
How excited are you to see them together again? Especially since they look the same! It is like they have not aged in 27 years. That is magic!
Practical Magic is expected to be released on September 18, 2026.
