Patricia Arquette and Maria Bello are in Haiti with
Give Love and they’re donating some of their time there to help out the
Starkey Hearing Foundation. The foundation helps to provide people with hearing aids so they can hear better instead of silence.
Seeing the two actresses placing hearing aids on those two men in Haiti brought tears to my eyes. The fact they are actually doing good and helping people with the gift of hearing is just so admirable to me. That is not all they are doing while they are down there and this is not either one of their first trips there which is just so amazing. While so many celebs just threw money at Haiti (which is good), these two women are getting their hands dirty to really help the people that need it.
And because of what they are doing we are getting to see the smiles on those men faces and that is just so beautiful to me. Their happiness is speaking louder than any word they can now hear.
You might have heard of The Starkey Hearing Foundation because that is the charity that Marlee Matlin raised $1 million for on The Celebrity Apprentice. I wonder if some of that money is what helped to put hearing aids on those grateful men’s ears?
