Even though David Zaslav made like the Road Runner and tried to kill Coyote vs. ACME like it was the Coyote, the villain was not successful. The live-action/animated movie was saved by Ketchup Entertainment, and it will be seeing the light of movie screens next month.
Today, they released the final trailer for the anticipated film, and I can’t wait to see it. Not only as a fuck you to Zaslav, but also because it looks fun. Who doesn’t love Will Forte and Looney Tunes?
So go see the comedy when it comes out on August 28th; let’s show Warner Bros what a fuck up Zaslav is and that he needs to be out of work already.
Apple TV announced today that The Morning Show is back in production for its fifth season. That is the good news. The bad news is that the streamer also revealed it will be the series’ final one.
The news drama, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, has always taken place in the past. It looks like this season they were going to catch up to our current timeline, so it feels like a good time to end.
“From the beginning, Apple has supported our vision for ‘The Morning Show,’ and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to tell stories that reflect what’s happening in the world around us with a twist of dark humor,” said star and executive producer Jennifer Aniston. “It’s been such a privilege to work with this insanely talented cast, and our extraordinary writers, producers, and crew. We’ve become such a family and we’re all so excited to share this final season. And going in knowing it would be our last, we were so fortunate to craft the conclusion with intentionality, and honor these characters the way they deserve.”

Well, it wasn’t a thorn that got Bret Michaels singing a sad, sad song. What did? A kidney stone.
The singer was recently hospitalized with one, after a week of hoping it would pass. He posted on social media, “The pain became intense but, as usual, I played through Charleston WV, Grantville PA and a special private show at Fairchild AFB in Spokane for veterans, active duty and their families. But immediately, the next day following that show, I was admitted to the hospital, as the pain became too much when the stone would not pass.”
After he was admitted, the doctors performed an operation on him to get the poison out of his body. It was successful, and now he is hoping he will be healthy enough to play his next gig on Saturday night. Knowing him, he will be able to do it.
Michaels also wanted to thank all of the doctors and nurses who take care of everyone who comes their way, especially the ones who have taken care of him during this painful time.
