Acapulco is a darling comedy about young and unrequited love that makes you fall in love with it. Because of that, Apple TV+ picked it up for a fourth season today.
“Having Apple order a fourth season of ‘Acapulco’ is beyond thrilling,” said star and executive producer Eugenio Derbez. “I’m incredibly grateful to our amazing partners, the talented cast and crew, and especially the audience, whose love and support have made this journey possible. It’s rare for shows centered on Latino stories to make it this far, and that makes this milestone even more meaningful. Representation matters, and continuing to share these vibrant stories on a global stage is something Ben Odell and I are deeply proud of. Thank you for helping us break barriers and celebrate our culture. We can’t wait to dive back into Las Colinas for more fun, laughter and heart with all of you!”
“We are so thankful to Apple and all our partners at Lionsgate for giving us the privilege to do another season of this hopeful, heartfelt, delightful show,” said creator and executive producer Austin Winsberg, and showrunner and executive producer Sam Laybourne. “Getting to a fourth season only happens when a show has an incredible team of actors, crew members and producers. We couldn’t be more excited to get back to Las Colinas and collaborate again with such a talented, hard-working and kind group of people.”
If you missed the first three seasons, I highly recommend the series that takes place at an Alcapulcan resort in the ’80s and today.
RuPaul told us something he shouldn’t be telling us. What is it? He sits down when he tinkles. “I know it’s kind of strange. But you know why not have a little rest when you can,” he revealed.
But it didn’t stop there: “The only problem is when you sit down to tinkle, your body says, ‘Hey, listen, while you are down there, why don’t you…'” You know what he was talking about—killing two birds with one stone!
So, why did he share that TMI with us? He is promoting Chelsea Devantez’s book I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This (But I’m Going to Anyway), which is this month’s selection for RuPaul’s Book Club!
So what is something you shouldn’t tell but will tell me? You start!
Bruce Springsteen is 74 years old, and he has been playing with the E Street Band for over 50 years. So, you would think he would be ready to retire and enjoy life with his wife and kids in Jersey. Especially after having to postpone his current tour late last year due to peptic ulcer disease.
The Boss addressed the rumors on Friday during a concert in Philadelphia. “We ain’t quitting,” he exclaimed. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour, bullshit. Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band. Hell no! Farewell to what, thousands of people screaming your name? I wanna quit that? That’s it. That’s all it takes. I ain’t going anywhere.”
Bruce! Bruce! Bruce! Bruce! Bruce! Bruce! Bruce!
I have a feeling the man who was Born in the USA is going to die on a stage, and we will have to yank the guitar out of his cold, dead hands.
There are some people who are going to Rock until they die, and he is one of them. That is why Bruce is the Boss!
Before David Boreanaz was dating Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he was dating a Bundy on Married…with Children. How sexy was the 23-year-old on a bike in that 1993 episode?
