NBC is hoping to get Stumble more eyes!
December 22nd, 2025 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

I have been a fan of Stumble since the pilot. However, the mockumentary about a Junior College Cheer team has gotten lost on Friday nights at 8:30p, and people are not watching.

NBC is hoping to change that by airing repeats on Monday nights starting on January 6th, according to Variety. And I hope it works.

Stumble is the type of show where you have to use your brain while you watch because the humor is smart. Well, there are a lot of dumb jokes, but you have to pay attention because they are not that dumb. Think of it like Clue or Knives Out, as in funny and smart.

New episodes will still air on Fridays after Happy’s Place.

BTWF: Rob Reiner in Hey, Landlord
December 22nd, 2025 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Rob Reiner was known as Meathead on All in the Family, they called him Teen-Ager on Hey Landlord. He never aged from when he was nearly 20 in that 1967 episode.

Pearl Jam’s Even Flow can put someone’s heart into an even flow again
December 22nd, 2025 under Pearl Jam. [ Comments: none ]

The American Heart Association recommends songs that can be used during hands-only CPR to get someone’s heart beating again.

The tunes need to be between 100 and 120 beats per minute. So it would be songs like Staying Alive by the Bee Gees, Ice, Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, Tití Me Preguntó by Bad Bunny, Fearless by Taylor Swift, Wicked’s Dancing Through Life, Macarena, Thriller by Michael Jackson, Walk the Line by Johnny Cash, Crazy in Love by Beyoncé, Last Christmas by Wham, Baby Shark, and Hips Don’t Lie by Shakira.

And the AHA added a new/old single to the list: Pearl Jam’s Even Flow, which comes in at 105 BPM.

There is something for everyone!

However, there is one record missing from that list, and it is The Fray’s How to Save a Life. It won’t save one at 122 BPN—two beats, too many.

Oh, and if you want to RickRoll someone in their time of need, Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up comes in at 113 BPM.

Now that you know which songs to sing as you do CPR, remember to call 9-1-1 before you get started so that they are there in time to get that person to the hospital.

The Anacondas is not Jack Black and Paul Rudd’s Anaconda
December 22nd, 2025 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

On Christmas, Jack Black and Paul are starring in Anaconda, which is a movie about two men making a movie about 1997’s Anaconda.

Well, when The Asylum heard that, they decided to make their own movie about the mega snake, The Anacondas.

In South America, explorers search for the last remaining city of an ancient city that worshipped snakes. After many failed attempts, they finally uncover the ruins, buried under a massive pile of snakes and their nests. Still, it’s a discovery worth celebrating – until they realize the massive snake the culture viewed as a God is still alive and constantly growing without any known predators — and no human sacrifices in centuries. The science team becomes an unwitting offering as the largest anaconda in history as it kills them one by one.

Personally, I find that The Asylum’s takes are better than the movie that is going to the big screen. However, this time, I don’t think they will be successful. But I still think it will be fun to watch.

The Anacondas is available to stream now.
