Nick Carter was arrested yesterday in Key West, Florida for allegedly getting into a fight with the staff at a bar. According to WPLG, the two were refused service at Hog’s Breath Saloon for being too drunk. That part of the story both sides agree on, but then it becomes a he said/he said story. Carter and his friend told cops they were attacked first, while the bar staff claim it was Michael Papayans who struck first. Then the arresting officer watched a video from the bar and that seemed to tell the definitive story. Carter was then arrested and booked on a misdemeanor for “1 count(s) of 784.03.1a1 – TOUCH OR STRIKE” according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office website.
On a positive note, at least Carter gave a good mugshot. In fact, it is one of the better pictures I have seen him take in a while.
No word if his arrest will affect the Backstreet Boys appearance on NBC’s Undateable next Friday.
