Even though NBC announced their 2025-2026 schedule in May, they had not made a decision about Grosse Pointe Garden Society. Today, they finally made a decision and killed the murder mystery.
Part of the reason the decision was delayed is that they were trying to see if it could be moved to Peacock. According to Deadline, the move was not cost-effective, so all of the questions from the season finale, including the confession, will go unanswered.
The show followed four members of a suburban garden club who find their lives intertwined by scandal, mischief and a shared secret – a murder no one wants to talk about. As dark truths begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden above.
The cast included Melissa Fumero, Aja Naomi King, Ben Rappaport, AnnaSophia Robb, Matthew Davis, Alexander Hodge, Nancy Travis and Felix Wolfe.
