Kim Kardashian was the talk of the Met Gala, and very little of it was positive.
People were shocked by how tiny her waist appeared in the Maison Margiela silver metal lace corset with matching skirt. Some people, including me, were wondering if the rumors were true that she had some of her ribs removed.
The other thing people hated was the ugly grey sweater cardigan she wore over her upper arms. What was the purpose of it? Kardashian explained to Vogue Magazine, “At the wildest night of my life in a garden. And I just ran out and grabbed my boyfriend’s sweater, threw it on, and had to get to work. My hair is all messed up.”
I don’t think she was referring to her hair being messed up because it looks damaged from the recent bleaching, which was another thing that looked bad yesterday.
On a positive note, the “fashionista” suffered for that look. She told Vogue that she felt “snatched” in the corset and that breathing was an art form.
Since Kardashian was rumored to have ruined Marilyn Monroe’s Bob Mackie gown at the 2022 Gala, John Galliano wanted to make sure it didn’t happen again. So she wore high-heeled shoes without heels, and spent he night walking on her tippy toes. They did that so she would not step on the floor-length skirt.
Today, she is probably waking up in pain. Both physically and mentally because her look was not received the way she thought it was going to be. It is like Sunday night’s boos at the Tom Brady Roast on Netflix were just a warning of what Monday night was going to be for her.
