In 2023, John Travolta gave Santa Claus a groovy makeover as he recreated his Saturday Night Fever moves for Capital One, dressed as Kris Kringle.
That was then. This year, the credit card company has Santa Travolta staying alive as one of his other most famous characters. This time, he is Christmatic as he sings a Capital One jingle to the melody of Greased Lightning!
Not only does he carol, but he also dances. Do you know what? At 71, he still has the moves!
What do you think he should do next time: Welcome Back, Carter, Perfect, Pulp Fiction, or Face/Off, Look Who’s Talking, or Hairspray (as Mrs. Claus)? He really has done some iconic roles! And that is why I love him!
BTW The name of the credit card is Quicksilver. Why haven’t they asked Kevin Bacon to do an ad for them? After all, the man who is six degrees of separation from every actor starred in a movie called Quicksilver.
