March 29th, 2016 under James Corden

In honor of The Late Late Show with James Corden celebrating its first year on TV, CBS is giving him a primetime special tonight at 10p.
The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special starts off with a longer version of that song and dance number. Then after the commercial break they re-air the one with Adele, followed by taking Grease to the crosswalk outside his studio, a Carpool Karaoke mashup, Corden getting a job as a real estate agent and finally getting in the car to sing with Jennifer Lopez. The late night host asks her if she insured her butt and also sends a text from her to Leonardo DiCaprio that gets her in trouble. Wait until you see how the Oscar winner responds to it.
While the whole special is not only Carpool Karaoke bits, it should help introduce him to people who are not familiar with his talk show. It will give them a taste of what his Late Late Show is all about.

Also at 10p but over at FX, it is the moment you have been waiting for on American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson. The Defense gets a tip that there are very incriminating tapes out there of Mark Fuhrman (Steven Pasquale). They contact the holder of the tapes, who interviewed him for a screenplay, and she refuses to give them up. F Lee Bailey (Nathan Lane) and Johnny Cochran (Courtney B Vance) go to North Carolina to ask the court to force her to release them. Eventually they win their case and the tapes are theirs.
Something they are excited about until they listen them. Turns out Fuhrman had horrible things to say about Judge Ito’s (Kenneth Choi) wife, who was his commanding officer, and that might mean that he will be forced to step down from the case.
Now, Ito needs another Judge to decide if he can stay on the case. Once that other judge rules that he can stay on the case, Ito now has to rule on the tapes. How much of the 13 hours will he deem to be admissible to the case? Enough to make Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) happy and Cochran pissed.
And what would be the point of all of this if we don’t get to see Fuhrman take the stand one more time. It is chilling scene you don’t want to miss. Actually, the whole tense episode is a must not miss. You truly get to see how race played a huge part in the case tonight.
