A year ago, there were rumors that Kelly Clarkson was ending her NBC daytime talk show, and a few months later, we learned that her ex-husband, who is the father of her two children, was sick and eventually lost his battle to cancer in August.
After that, the rumors about The Kelly Clarkson Show ending went silent. However, now that her contract is coming up and it is getting near the time for both her and the network to make a decision, the rumors are starting up again.
A source told Page Six, “[Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore.”
However, other insiders say that no decision has been made.
So, from now until they announce the show is ending or continuing, we will be hearing rumors about both.
If I were a network exec, I would move on and look for another host. People thought that Ellen DeGeneres would be doing her show forever, and where is she now?
