Today, Saturday Night Live released a cut segment from Weekend Update, and I don’t know why they cut it.
Newcomer Tommy Brennan, a Minnesota native, did a segment about ICE being unwanted in his home state. And it is hysterical.
It is not only because we got to rewatch that ICE agent slip on the ice and land on his ass. It was what he wrote, and how he delivered it.
Because of that, I bet if Michael Che and Colin Jost ever step down from the news update, he could take over for them. Don’t you think he would be great for the job?
Seriously, I don’t know why they kept Jane Wickline’s unfunny button bit over this. This was brilliant. That was stupid.
