A few months ago, it was announced that they were doing a play based on Family Ties at the
Human Race Theatre in Dayton, Ohio and it opened this weekend with Eve “Jan Brady” Plumb as Elise Keaton.
In honor of opening night, the theater released photos of the production. The play is a sequel to the NBC sitcom and that is why Alex, Mallory and Jennifer all look older. They describe it as, “Twenty years have passed and Alex P. Keaton, now running for Congress, returns to his parents’ Columbus home with his sisters, Mallory and Jennifer, who are parents of their own. Gathered together once again, they relive some of the most important moments from their childhood – the growing pains, heartbreaks and reconciliations – with fondness and appreciation for simpler times that defined a generation.”
I hope that Family Ties tours because I would love to see it. If you are in the Dayton, Ohio area, then you can see it up until it closes on June 25th.
BTW I think that they really good job on recreating the Keaton household, to see it then
