Jimmy Fallon came up with a way to have the Full House cast reunite on The Tonight Show with a bit, and I wish he would’ve had cut it out with the Donald Trump part. Although, it was nice to hear the Tanners tell Trump it is OK to lose.
While I didn’t like that part, I loved hearing Jodie Sweetin say, “How rude,” John Stamos say, “Have mercy,” and Dave Coulier say, “Cut it out!” As awesome as that was, the best part comes when they say the theme song’s lyrics as part of their conversation.
This makes me wonder why sitcoms stopped doing catchphrases and theme songs as part of their show, they have just as much of a lasting effect as the show itself. Am I right?
