June 12th, 2013 under John Stamos, USA Network

Tonight at 9p on USA’s Royal Pains we find out what happened to Hank (Mark Feuerstein) after his brain surgery at the end of the Winter special episode. The season premiere picks up a few months after the incident, and Hank is still trying to get his life back to where it was. But it is not anywhere near what it was like before the operation. His brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), has moved in and that is putting a lot of stress on his brand new marriage to Paige (Brooke D’Orsay). And in case you forgot they weren’t the only ones who said “I do” in the last episode; Divya (Reshma Shetty) did too and we get an update on if they are living happily ever after. It is a lot for HankMed to handle, but will it be too much? You will have to tune in to find out. And did I mention that someone is pregnant?
Just like a good doctor, Royal Pains gets better over time.
If you think that Royal Pains has gone through a lot of changes since its last episode, it ain’t nothing as compared to the amount of changes that Necessary Roughness goes through tonight on USA at 10p. The episode picks up a few months after the season finale and the Hawks have a new coach. He runs thing differently than Coach Pat Purnell, so much so that he fired Dani (Calle Thorne) after their first meeting. That news will spread faster than TK (Mechad Brooks) running for a touchdown and when Nico (Scott Cohen) hears it he comes out of hiding to contact her. Turns out he never left the city and he’s working for V3, a talent agency that specializes in sports stars. V3 is run by John Stamos, and he looks the part of a top talent agent. V3 has a client that needs Dani’s help, so she is brought in to work on him. Will it be a one time deal or does she have a new job? She isn’t the only who leaves the Hawks tonight, at least one other person is saying goodbye to the team
There are a lot of changes going on with Necessary Roughness this season, and it is giving the show a whole new life. Plus it is now and improved with John Stamos.
