When I think of Eric Stonestreet, I think of the guy who is afraid of his own shadow thanks to all the times that Ellen DeGeneres has scared him on her talk show. Turns out he used to be braver back on the ’90s because he worked security at a Garth Brooks show.
Now 22 years later, he got to meet the man he protected. He described these photos as “In 1995 I worked security for A (ONE) Garth Brooks concert in Manhattan Ks. Last night I finally got to say you’re welcome for keeping him safe that night and basically giving him the wonderful career he’s had thus far. Thank you Garth for the amazing night I had with my #crew slash #squad ❤️#circles.”
Their original encounter gives new meaning to “I’ve got friends in low places.” Get it because the Modern Family star was lower than the Country singer and the actor was protecting his friend.
