Elton John was singing Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) Wednesday night in Las Vegas when he suddenly got hit in the mouth by a silver beaded necklace that was thrown at him by a fan. According to TMZ, the retiring-from-touring singer had just invited the front row up on stage when the incident happened.
John looked pissed and nervous that his teeth might have been chipped, but he was alright and he went on with the show.
No word what happened to the fan that threw the beads, but I am sure they got no Valentine’s Day loving from him after that.
I also doubt that John will allow any fans on the stage again.
