Once you got over the shock of Roseanne being cancelled by ABC, then you were dying to know what Donald Trump thought about his favorite sitcom getting the sudden ax. Today, he broke his silence about it and just like his Memorial Day tweet, it was all about him.
He went all Carly Rae Jepsen as in Call Me Maybe and wrote, “Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that “ABC does not tolerate comments like those” made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?”
Let’s be honest, if everyone called him every time they said something some bad about him, then his phone would never stop ringing. If his phone never stopped ringing, then he would never be able to tweet. You know, I think I am on to something, let’s all start calling him everytime we say something negative, so he will not tweet! Can one phone handle all of those calls all of the time?
Talking about tweeting, Roseanne Tweeted, “I have had odd ambien experiences on tweeting late at night-like many other ppl do.” Well, Sanofi US, the company who makes the sleeping pill, had a message for her. They said, “People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.” Who knew a pharmaceutical company could be funnier than a comedian? But then again, look at the comedian.
