Now, I could be reading too much into it because I am Team Justin Baldoni, but I feel like there is a distance between them. To me, it feels like he doesn’t want to stand so close to her, but she is holding on to him so that he remains as close to her as possible, so that pictures make it appear that they are just as close as ever.
Plus, I have been seeing rumors that their marriage might be in trouble ever since the lawsuit, because Mr. Nice Guy might not be as nice as we thought, and he needs to protect his image. Therefore, I could be reading between the lines that are not there.
Personally, if I were her, I would try to settle with Baldoni and have both of them drop their lawsuits. Then, they agree to do the sequel to It Ends with Us and pretend like everything is great between them during the press tour. Along with making the movie, do events raising money for people who have survived spousal abuse. They are actors, I am sure they can fake it.
