Over the weekend, the biggest baseball news was about a woman who went foul over a ball.
On Friday, Phillies center fielder Harrison Bader hit a home run that went up into the stands, and several fans went to catch the ball. But it was Drew Feltwell who got his hands on it and gave it to his son, who is about to turn 10.
Just as they were celebrating, this bitchy woman came out of nowhere and claimed the ball was hers. Rather than spend the rest of the game fighting, he gave her the ball, disappointing his son.
But the story has a happy ending because Bader asked to meet Lincoln and signed a bat for him. This way, he didn’t go home empty-handed and has good memories from the game and not bad ones.
Talking about the bad one, Phillies Karen has not been identified. Or has she?
The Savannah Bananas recreated that moment during their game, and it was the Grinch who revealed himself to be the Karen. Just when you thought he had grown a heart, it turns out he hadn’t. Maybe the World Series can do that?
